Tourmalinated Quartz Heart

This is a Quartz basal matrix which is just full of long Tourmaline Schorl needles, a new and rare formation. This is a new material that is being mined in Madagascar. Polishing is challenging as you lose a lot of material in the process and so a lot of care went into this finished product.
