Refund and Returns Policy

Our refund and returns policy period is 14 days. If 14 days have passed since your purchase, we do not offer a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a refund, your item must be returned to Smudge SA Crystals, unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. We use premium packaging to ensure there are no breakages. We have 100% success rate with orders being delivered intact.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as incense, resins, oils, sprays, Palo Santo sticks, smudge sticks and herbal soaps cannot be returned.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Coupons. Purchases with coupons will only be refunded monies paid, not the coupon amount. You will be re-issued with another coupon of the same amount.
  • Downloadable products are not refundable.
  • Some health and personal care items such as facial rollers.
  • Tarot and Oracle Cards that have been opened.

To complete your refund, we will require your banking details unless you paid through Yoco. We cannot process refunds for items paid with Zapper.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Tarot and Oracle Cards that have been opened will get a 50% refund. **If a coupon or discount code was used for the purchase, you will only be refunded 50% of monies paid.
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

Refunds

Please take pictures of the items before sending to get your refund approved. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

Yoco takes 3 to 4 working days to process refunds. Should your funds not reflect after that, please contact us via info@smudge-sa.co.za, with your order number as your reference.

    • To return your product, you ship your product to: 92 Clarendon Road, Parkhill, Duran North, 4051. Please take pictures of the items before sending to get your refund approved.
    • You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
    • Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
    • If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

      • Sale items: Sale items cannot be refunded.

      • Gifts: Items that are received as gifts are not refundable to the receiver and must be processed through the individual who bought the gift.
